Tired of those ordinary flat calendars, I decided to make one in 3D. This piece is made out of more than 100 little origami pieces that are put together into a bigger form that is transformable. Each opening reveals a flower that is tied to the month indicated. By the end of the year, all the flowers would come in full bloom, symbolizing our own personal growth throughout the year and the hope that, like these beautiful flowers, we can absorb all the nutrients that life offers us and face those not-so-good days with confidence and courage.
